Pole Dancing Class
This is where we all start out. This class must be done by all students enrolled in any class. It focuses on walking, spins, foot/floor work and various grips required for other moves on the pole. This class is a great work out and targets every muscle area.
In Level one pole dancing we will be learning a lot of very basic moves that will let you get to know the pole and what it's like to hold your weight on the pole. You will be starting to go airborne and doing some fun beginner moves after the first week.
Once you have completed level one you have the choice of moving onto level two for a bigger challenge and really start to build some muscle and burn those calories or you may be comfortable with taking level one again with some friends or take it with new people.
Bring lots of water and wear workout cloths you can move in, for level one its best to cover your back with a t-shirt. Don't wear any kind of lotion or jewelery on your hands or wrists, this will cause your hands to slide. We dance in socks on a carpeted floor, this provides the right amount of control, heels are not required.
